- President Trump went on a mission last night to show Pennsylvania voters how much he needs them. Polls show his support is declining in Rust Belt states that made the difference for him in 2016. @Weijia Jiang reports from the White House.
- Two people are dead after a small Alaska-based airline's third crash in less than a year. The floatplane crash Monday is the second deadly incident for Taquan Air in a week. The plane went down in the water near Ketchikan, Alaska. @MolaReports.
- Parts of the southern Plains are under tornado watches, a day after more than a dozen twisters hit Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. There are no reports of injuries. @CBSMireya reports from Mangum, Oklahoma.
- Severe weather brought nearly 7 inches of rain to parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas last night, causing life-threatening flash flooding. In Hominy, OK, dozens of people were rescued or evacuated in a situation officials described as "scary." @DavidBegnaud reports.
